For nearly 19 years, Peter F. Szymanski, AIA has been designing, managing, and facilitating construction of public and private schools, universities, hospitals, commercial buildings, and municipal structures. He is a Registered Architect in Pennsylvania; has NCARB certification; is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED BD+C); a Green Globes Proffessional (GGP); and a Recognized Educational Facility Planner (REFP). He has broad experience in all facets of project programming, design, planning, and delivery. He joined JC Pierce llc to further his vision of delivering high quality, sustainable buildings, that represent excellent cost-to-value for the client.
Mr. Szymanski graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor degree in Architecture, and has furthered his education with Executive Education Programs at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design for Educational Facility Planning and Design; and Penn State University, where he was trained in PMI (Project Management Institute) best practices as a Project Manager. He is an experienced facilitator, well versed in the programing, design, and construction of large complex, projects.
Before joining JC Pierce, llc, Pete was a Senior Project Manager and Project Architect, for two of the region's largest architectural/ engineering firms. During that time, he worked on some of the region's most recognizable buildings, including the new UPMC Children's Hospital, UPMC John G. Rangos Research Center, numerous new and renovated public schools, the Heinz History Center, Harrisburg Area Community College, and the award-winning Penn State Lorenzo Fitness and Wrestling Center (LEED Gold). A leader or contributor on over a dozen LEED projects, Pete continues to bring his vision of cost-effective, efficient, and sustainable design to clients to help them translate their vision to reality.
