Golden Globes Professional (GGP)

JC Piece, llc employs three LEED Accredited professionals, lead by Peter F. Szymanski, AIA, LEED BD+C, GGP, who is the firm's Sustainability Manager.  Mr. Szymanski has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2003 and became a Golden Globes Professional in 2014.  While employed by two of the region's largest A/E firms, and subsequently joining  JC Pierce llc, he has been involved with the design of more than a dozen LEED registered Projects and has been responsible for the final submission and certification of 5 LEED  Projects.

 

With an intimate knowlege and passion for sustainable, integrated design, Mr. Szymanski is an expert at documenting LEED and Golden Globe credits; and at improving the certification status of susatinable projects.  He thoroughly understands the reasoning and intent of United States Green Building Council (USGBC) Credit Interpretations.  He is one of a handful of architects in the profession to have achieved Gold Level Certification for multiple buildings.  While employed by LR Kimball, Mr. Szymanski submitted and obtained the first ever LEED Certification awarded to an athletic field project:  Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, Penn State University's new baseball stadium.
